We are Emmanuelle and Eric, a life-loving couple in our 40s with a shared passion for travel, exploration, and creating unforgettable experiences. Originally from Canada and Germany, we now call Spain home. Fluent in English, German, French, and Spanish, we connect with people from all over the world while respecting our roots and enjoying moments with our families.
During business hours, we could be called: Workaholics, but on weekends and vacations, we love to explore the world in various forms of travelling – from backpacking to 5* luxury escapes. Our other passion is Real Estate – being exposed to Real Estate early in life on the one hand, and being handy on the other, this became passion over the years dreaming of owning various getaway properties around the world.
In short, whether we’re exploring nature, capturing beautiful photos, or simply relaxing in a cozy corner, we appreciate the moments that allow us to unwind and fully savor life’s pleasures while dreaming of the next Gemstone Getaway location.
Our profession has given us the opportunity to travel and immerse ourselves in diverse cultures. Privately, we love to explore the natural beauties of our planet. These experiences inspired us to transform our passions for Real Estate and discovery into a fulfilling endeavor — welcoming and sharing with others our properties to enjoy memorable getaways – we call them Gemstone Getaways.
The journey began in 2018 when we found the today´s Aquamarine. We fell in love with this property (and is still our dream getaway) when decided to share it with others, which turned out to be the foundation of Gemstone Getaway. We poured time, love, and effort into modernizing and decorating it, transforming it into the perfect vacation home. We are proud to have welcomed guests from around the world incl. happy vacationers from South Africa, New Zealand and across Europe to experience what makes Aquamarine so special.
Two years later, in 2020, we expanded with Yellow Jasper, our second project. Located in the vibrant Puerto Banus area of Marbella, on Spain’s Costa del Sol / Costa del Golf, this property combines a soothing vacation vibe with a modern and warm atmosphere, reflecting the energy of the region. It offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to the lively life of Puerto Banus.
Most recently, in 2022 acquired and undergoing a massive modernisation with targeted door opening in 2026, our Larimar is featuring the next level of experience – a free-standing house with magnificent views, private garden and swimming pool and walking distance to Marbella downtown.
….and the next destination is cooking in the background already.

Carefully Selected Locations
We like to select and find holiday properties that are greatly located considering the environment around. We aim to be reasonably close to airports and where possible, have amenities and / or attractions at walking distances. Our locations are in top vacation areas, central but in quiet and family-oriented surroundings.
Feel Home Away From Home
We like to spend time at our properties as much as possible and for that reason, we decorate and equipe our properties the way we would do it for our own home. And we are happy to share that with our guests so they can Feel Home Away From Home whenever they are at our properties.
