Portugal was distinguished as the best tourist destination in the world for the third consecutive year by the World Travel Awards, in a ceremony that took in Muscat, Oman.
Alongside Portugal were nominated for this award, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dubai, Greece, India, Indonesia, Jamaica, Kenya, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, United States and Vietnam.
Turismo de Portugal was also distinguished for the third consecutive year by the World Travel Awards, as the “Best Official Tourism Organization in the World“.
